11-3 with the Big lineup in after 3 minutes, then they brought in Freeman for Lewis

They need to keep posting McChesney and make either Reeves or Strong's player either double or leave Liam alone

I would hope that we could get more offensive rebounds with our size advantage

ISU Blue aren’t going to miss as many bunnies as they did in the first half. Have to be ready to take a blow out of the gates and survive. Lots of good things in the first half.

Hopefully we can start making our bunnies too

Reeves seemed to hurrying his shots - when there was no need to hurry. Yes, feed McChesney in the paint. As for the offensive rebounding - I see our players becoming a spectator, not moving into rebounding position as either someone is getting ready to shoot or driving. Have to get into position on the weakside for successful offensive rebounding - not doing it.

ISU Blue looks like a DII team, small 4 & 3-4 guards- then the announcer says 2 of these players were on Coach’s former DII team last year - sorry, didn’t work for the Birds either and I think we heard the same “NBA like-position less” stuff, at least the Birds aren’t trying to match up with them. The +/- has to be largely in favor of 2 guards vs 3.

Rebounding just doesn’t seem to be an expressed emphasis. I’ve never heard the bench getting on players to get to the boards or follow shots, nor is it discussed by Staff in interviews much. Part of the problem with the 5 out is that while it opens the middle for a dribble drive, no one is already in position to rebound, they have to move aggressively to get there
