Don’t see this as bad. He’s done more with less in ND. Prob not the easiest place to get kids excited about.

Seroiusly though, I don't know anything about his background, but this looks to be a good hire if he is as Adunk describes.

He was the leader in transitioning UND to D1, taking UND to the NCAA tournament the 16-17 year, he recruited basketball players to North Dakota, and familiar with the Valley having played at UNI. The same people who complain, "he doesn't have recruiting ties to Chicago," are the same people who complain that, "Muller needs to hire a more veteran coach to help with X's and O's."

I am surprised by this hire, but really like it.

They still need to can Duhon and bring in someone that can recruit. How is Duhon still on this staff?

Hopefully he gets the opportunity to help out on the bench in game time situations. Not exactly earth shattering news, but he does have some experience so let's see where that takes us.

In every thread? I’m frustrated with the drought, too, but it doesn’t need to be rehashed 25 times a day in every thread.

I like this hire. It’s a massive upgrade from Mullins, IMO. Look forward to seeing if he can help us land a few nice pieces in the next couple of weeks.

I agree. I see this as a great x and o hire. Former head coaching experience at D1 level is helpful. I know when coach Walter at UE was hired, he hired 2 former head coaches on his staff, which has been helpful to him.

Thought for sure it would be a chicago guy since Mullins left but this probably fills a bigger hole on Mullers staff. At Iowa, he was an assistant with Greg Lansing and and was there when Dean Oliver played.

The conversation on here from our ilk is the same discussion you hear around town and from long time fans. The only place it offends anyone is on RBF.
