Jefferson with pressure to pass was not pretty. ISU defense was F'ing stellar. Robinson was a beast and workhouse too.

Outstanding effort.

Did so many things today that haven’t been done to that team in decades.

So close. So damn close.

Man the defense played their asses off. Robinson ran so hard. It's just tough to beat that team without a QB.

I think if Davis is healthy ISU wins that game. Too bad heck of an effort. Hats off to the defense, amazing performance.

Tough result, not a believer in a moral victory, a loss is a loss, but damn proud the defense showed up today, put a scare in em, couldn't have thought this result 3 weeks after the s show at the ice rink

I would say it is tough to beat a team when your offensive coordinator has not developed/prepared the qb position. I vote to fire the OC.

Not to argue but I feel if Davis played we have same result as earlier in the year. Davis had a way of self-destructing against the better teams.

Ridiculously conservative game plan and didn't get lucky. NDSU was the better team today, but the team played hard.

Very proud of the team overall. I blame the offense less on Jefferson and more on horrendous play calling. Defense played unreal and we will absolutely miss James Robinson. He played out of his mind and really shouldered the load.

We lose 31-3 with Davis. He would have thrown at least 3 picks.

Beathard had a heck of run in 14/15, but this offense is too conservative and too predictable. Hard to accurately judge a passing game when you never throw and when you do, you only have 1 or 2 wr running routes.

Should’ve won 10-9 with the lateral, but we also should have been more productive on offense. A lot of people will hate on the play calling and I certainly understand it. However, that last drive showed that right now, Jefferson is not the one you want to lead you to a game winning drive. He completed what? 2 passes? and threw a really bad, non-consequential pick. I honestly think the OC trusted his experienced OL and senior RB to take them to glory. After all, it worked the last two games.

All in all, really great effort by the defense, OL, James, and WRs. The WRs block really well. I’m excited for the defense next year. Quite frankly, I don’t think anyone the rest of the way will be within 2 scores of the Bizon. The MVFC is such a superior conference. I’ve gotta think the Bizon are going to start looking for ways to go FBS. Complete dominance for a decade. Why wouldn’t a conference want them in? (Other than teams having to go to North Dakota). Very good season, and I look forward to next year!

Tremendous effort by the entire team today. As embarrassing as it is that this university is still 1-AA, there is much pride to be taken in these student-athletes.

I thought Davis was inconsistent but at least was a threat to throw the ball. I still think playcalling was a bigger reason for our passing struggles than either qb that played. It would have been interesting to see how Davis would have played with Edgar healthy all season.

Just interested. What should the OC have called that he didn't. He shortened the game.
Seems like he did what he needed to do to keep us in it. Tough to play the best team in the country without a passing game. But he gave us a chance.
