It's is going to be a fun evening at Redbird Arena. We have a tough match vs, a very good Valpo team, top 50 in the RPI. And then hoopsfest. C'mon out. If you are new to volleyball, it is a fun exciting sport to watch. And our team is good.

FYI, I have seen Chris play. A couple of times, once recently from pretty close range. And I think he is good. And I would like to see him as a Redbird. Just sayin' we will be OK if he decides, or we decide to go another way.

I am kind of over Payton at this point. I was dissapointed when he pulled his comittment, but seeing who we have recruited, and thinking his stock is down now (maybe was never that real good in the first place), so it goes. There was some excitement because of the local ties and UIUC offering...

Perhaps he is thinking he does not want to be so close to home. It happens. Being the hometown school is not always an advantage. And it's possible Payton was hearing that he would get P5 interest but it has not happened yet.
