So at State Farm or COUNTRY or Rivian or whatever, gets a new CEO. And every one knows there is a VP that hasn't been able to cut it, and that CEO doesn't fire the VP within 3 months then the CEO is trash and should be let go? It doesn't work that way man. In private sector or at a university. Heck, it would be easier in the private sector than at a public school.
If this so called VP is God awful for 90% of their tenure I'd expect a pink slip. It does work this way. Any time their is high level changes and someone directly below them sucks they either get passed around the organization/demoted or shown the pink slip.
