I'd love to be wrong and have them flip it and get to the tournament as a 28 win team but its unlikely because they refuse to play D and Dan confirmed it. You keep saying it's 2 games. Same team last year and they didn't play good D last year. It's a year an 2 games. Maybe being exposed will be the thing they needed but after this long I doubt it

Too early to start the "fire Muller" thread, but one complaint I have is -- why doesn't COACH Muller recruit more players who play like PLAYER Muller? At least ones with some decent talent?

Plenty of people on this board have defended "taking risks" with players, and Muller has brought in his share of "hard workers" (Paris Lee, Tony Wills, Fayne, I'm sure you can all think of others). But he always seems to end up with a bunch of guys he only gets frustrated with who won't "bend" to his way of doing things.

So Ike and Hein and so forth are great to have around, set a good tone in practice, good teammates, etc., but having to rely on those guys isn't a great thing for the long haul.

I can't knock hein and gassman passion and work ethic. The problem is the crap players have the heart and the some of the good players have no heart just ego. Fayne has both. He needs to open his damn mouth and be a leader and put his foot down because Evans and milik don't have both.

I’m pretty negative about the status of ISU athletics, but I’m not ready to jump off the Muller bandwagon. Let’s face it, we’ve had 4 coaches since Stallings and none have made the NCAA tournament. It’s not like he’s been much different.

If I have any issue with Muller, it’s that ISU gave him a massive extension without winning anything.

Also, how would we buy out Muller (if this was realistic)? We are bussing 6 and a half hours to games when other teams are flying.

Muller has to pay $50k if he leaves. I’m assuming we have to pay the rest of his $600,000 salary through 2024 if you fire him.

No point of firing him until the end of the season anyway. I'm too passionate for the job. I'd be throwing chairs Bobby Knight style. Give it to Yak. Wait til the band plays hey, baby while I'm coach!!!

I have a great story about that Villanova/Georgetown game, but it's long. I watched it at Digger's bar in Idaho Springs if anyone remembers Digger.

Too long to tell here.

You're wrong. They would fire him with cause. Because jbgeurhdbdnsjdnbirds1 said so! Eliminates ISU's liability.

Harold Jensen will step into Massimino's role once he tips over, and he won't miss a shot, I mean, lose a game!
