I'll agree to disagree on the zone vs man deal.
You don't look at 2 possessions in a game and declare a defensive strategy a bust. Would you like for me to pull 2 possessions from our man where we were beat for back doors or allowed wide open shots? Same thinking.
UNI came in with the worst 3 point shooting percentage in the Valley, with a pretty large sample size. They were 32.2% coming into the game. Their overall was also dead last at 39.3%. Pressure them and protect the rim and you should win. Thus, a 3-2, or 2-3 aggressive zone would have been my choice. Dan went a different way and we won. No biggie. Just not what I thought we would do with them.
