This isn't 2A high school basketball anymoreI just don't understand how we have taken such a massive step back. It blows my mind that Pence can't get any minutes.
I wonder what Pedon said in his interview for the job. Did he say we were going to NOT play defense, play offense 1 on 1, stand around and watch? No shame. No pride. No hope. ISU men’s basketball has reached rock bottom. Lower if that’s possible.
If Kyle Brennan and Mark Muhlhauser had final say I think it’s worth wondering what any candidate said to them. Matters, soccer, Pedon. They did great.I wonder what Pedon said in his interview for the job. Did he say we were going to NOT play defense, play offense 1 on 1, stand around and watch?
And practice? Has he not been practicing all season?Isn’t that what the offseason is for?!?
Dakich runs the offense. He should go join his jackass dad pushing right wing propaganda. The program is worse than where they found it at this current moment. And sinking.
You gotta have a new staff next year if you’re Pedon. Although not sure you can let Slay go after just 1 year. Otherwise it would be hard to sell someone to come here.
Some culture.
This staff is in way over their heads. They have nowhere near the talent they should. We can’t compete in this conference with these players. We lost to Valpo on our own court. Years of mediocrity have decimated this program.
The problem is I don’t think anyone in the AD actually cares. They don’t even try when it comes to promotions and atmosphere. There’s a good thread I saw on Twitter ripping them a new one. The problem is nobody cares. **** this administration. While I do think the overall attractiveness of the ISU job has somewhat worn down, I’m in favor of starting all over again. This is why it makes no sense to have an Interim AD for this long. Men’s basketball has to win at ISU and I’ve seen enough from Ryan Pedon to say it will take far too long to ever win at a meaningful clip here. We need to make the move at the end of the season and bring someone in. It’s been proven now that Brennan was not good. It can’t be trusted for anything he worked on to maintain. This program is too important to the department and university to be losing by 25 at home in front of 1600 people. It’s embarrassing. It’s unacceptable. Worst of all, it’s avoidable. This shouldn’t be happening.
