VB off to a Great Start!

Do you find the way they rotate kinda of odd too? Not like the old elementary school days when you physically moved from the middle to the right side, etc. Now they all just get in one big bunch and somehow the MB always ends up in the middle, the RH on the right, and the OH on the left. Seems kinda like cheating to me....let me guess, they probably changed that rule 45 years ago back when I was young.

In that article they didn't want to add the Libero position for woman. Guess they finally saw the light on that one.

Another solid W vs Missouri State. Keep it going ladies- we have a chance to pull the upset vs UNI who is coming to town soon. Regardless unless they tank, I see the Birds with an at large at a minimum

Given that it is the last home game I would assume it is senior day as well. It would be nice to have a crowd to honor Jordan, Courtney, Lexi, and Ali.

Football also plays at UNI at 1 p.m. Promote it to "Spend a day at Redbird."

1 p.m. - Football watch party at RBA (or Stadium Club?)
4 p.m. - Basketball Exhibition vs AUGUSTANA
7 p.m. - Volleyball vs UNI.

I agree, what were they thinking? They should also let everybody who goes to the basketball game stay for free. That's the way to build the VB fan base, plus it's a huge game for them.

I think it's our football team playing at 3pm, at UNI. Probably want our basketball fans to go home and be able to watch it on TV.

I think the scheduling problem is that they need to have the vball nets up in RBA for the visiting team to do a pre-game session on the floor before warm-ups. I think it has to be like 2 or 3 hours before game time, so a 7:00 match means the nets are up by 4:00. The MBB game would have to be done by then, or be willing to play around the nets, I guess.

In the MVC we're at the top in both Hitting Pct and Opponent Hitting Pct. UNI is right behind us hitting wise, but more near the bottom on the defense hitting pct. So us tied at the top of the standings really is not a fluke.
