I wasn't that impressed. This team lacks the killer instinct

Good game all around. Thought the rotation was good. I wonder if guys will play with more confidence knowing they will be playing more? Seemed like it last night with players getting longer stretches of minutes.

Loved the heart and fire we played with. Wish we had that every night. The dunk was obviously the highlight and had Redbird rocking. I liked what I saw last night.

Now this team needs to keep building on this. Almost everyone contributed something positive.

Now can this team take the next step and do this twice in a row. Big game on Tuesday, would love to steal one in Springfield and keep Lusk on the hot seat.

Watching the game again. In the goofy inbound play, it looked like it was off them. The ref pointed our way, then pointed their way. Key and their guy both walked out of bounds to get the ball from the ref. Assuming the Ref said Valpo ball. Key had barely stepped inbounds when he handed it to them to inbound

Lusk is overrated as a coach with the most talent in the league. There is always a chance isu can steal a game in Springfield. Add the fact that 2 of msu top players are out with fluke injuries and anything is possible. All I know is isu got to play with the same energy on Tuesday that they played with on Saturday night.

OK. I thought he clearly pointed in the direction of ISU. I think most everyone on the floor thought that too, including some of the Valpo players.But the one Valpo kid confidently walked over to inbound the ball and that's when he signaled the other way.

I heard the ref call 'Gold', but he pointed the wrong direction, so all our players thought it was our ball. Kinda like a game of Simon says, but we lost.

I'll feel a lot better that they have turned a corner when I see them play well on the road. The last four road game performances have been ugly.
