Lets hope Davis does not come back for his senior year. Time to go to the young guys and build for the future. I think the playoffs are in jeopardy at this point. Probably a loss at SDSU. Probably a win with MO State but they beat the Birds last year. YSU...who knows. The lack of offense was going to catch them at some point. Shame to waste such a good defense.
Lack of confidence in the qb by the coaching staff? So why is he still in there then? Freshman QBs can throw interceptions just as well.

I am really being serious... let's look at the backup QBs and begin to build for the post Brady era. I know UNI knows the Birds are going to throw but those were just bad throws. Coach Spack is probably right...they will remember what you do in November.

just wow ... how we can completely lose our confidence and rhythm to such an extreme is mind blowing. This is same nonsense that happened last year in Q2.

Coaches need to look hard at themselves .. they are the common denominator. Time to find a young up and comer OC with new ideas and let him recruit and develop the QB and let him RUN THE OFFENSE !!!!!!!

This is on Spack .. he is the common denominator. In MVFC, we will not do better than 4-4 most years with our offensive philosophy. Good defense and run game is not enough to win against top tier teams any more. We need to learn to throw the ball with more confidence. It is very hard to watch the collective funk we get in offensively because we are afraid to pass. Today's game is played in space .. you need a good run game and a good pass game to win in the MVFC and playoffs.
