This is just the start, if you listened to Spack's post conference I have a feeling many will transfer and many new faces will be playing on Saturdays for the birds next year.

I can't say this is very surprising. He did not appear to be in the mix at all.
He was the guy with the headphones and clip board from what I saw. God bless him. Gotta hope the two FR from this year were ready to move ahead of him. The real question is will Jefferson and Waring return, or one or both of them move on?

Probably depends on whether a P5 transfer comes in . . .

That was him. I am curious what Jefferson and Waring do. If they leave soon that says a lot in my opinion.

Spack definitely plays the way he thinks it gives the team the best chance of winning. This year, and at times in the past, that's meant lock down defense and ultra conservative offense. The points been made here that he's playing to the personnel he has. I don't think we leave '21 with a clear incumbent at QB, so the job appears to be there for the taking. Spring session seems like it'll be important for the position.

Lets face it - QB play was difference of at least 2 more wins, maybe 3. A FBS tranfrer would be welcome (or even the kid from WIU)

Guess Kids/Parents got to do what’s What they feel is in the best interest for them but at same time when you see these tweets and teammates are liking it does mind boggling to me. I will wish them well but not going to be liking it because guess I am just hard nose .. Forget them ! 90% of the time they are selfish or me me me type guys...not team 1st mentality!

Best of luck young man!
Last place team that currently doesn't have a solution for QB OR a playoff team that has a solid offense and can compete for a championship next year. Every team at the top of the conference will have someone whispering in our best players ears. What are we selling? Stagnant offense that plays in a half finished/half full stadium and a parachute to practice under in maybe a few years. I wonder how many others already have offers on the table?

Just a random thought here...a vast majority of the guys playing college football right now will not be playing on Sunday. They need to leverage what skills they have and use them to their advantage, not only physically but also mentally and intellectually. Realize what you bring to the table and have realistic expectations. Case in point...a good friend of mine has a nephew who played O line at Dartmouth. He had a few D1 offers but realized his skill set wasn't going to translate to playing on the big stage. He used fball to get a schollie from a damn good school and had numerous job offers after graduation. I know a lot of kids have people whispering in the ear about how great they are, but at the end of the day it's up to the kid and his family to make the right decision regarding where they end up playing college fball.

Being in the MVFC is a blessing and a curse. Teams can recruit some NFL caliber players but at the same time if they start getting looks from the NFL they might just run for a P5 school. Valley schools can also take a P5 kid that has injury issues or was kicked off the team over any other FCS conference. It is hard to keep kids for 4/5 years in one program. Someone had a great post last year about how kids do not have that school buy in anymore. It seems kids will run at the first sign of adversity. Coaches truly have to rebuild ever year and hope to strike gold in the portal.

Henry is a former 3 star offensive lineman from Desoto, TX. Transfer from ULM

Geoffrey is a former 3 star linebacker from Quebec City, Canada. Transfer from Syracuse

Both have received offers at ISU.
