Hopefully he can still become the basketball player he wants to be.

On another note, maybe his surgeon can tighten the screws a few of our posters have loose.

Maybe they can loosen the screws to your glasses so the rose coloring falls off.

I kid, I kid.

Alec Peters had the same surgery as Taylor did back when Alec injured his foot back when he was a senior at Valpo. Same bone as well.

Muller mentioned a few weeks ago during a coach's show that this was going to be the case. Hopefully, the surgery helps prevent further injury and allows him to have a great, and healthy career here. I think he can be a HUGE part of the team next season.

That's just awful. I feel sorry for Taylor.

Hopefully he can make it back but injuries like these end careers.
Saw Nojel Eastern (Evanston high school now a starter on purdue) break his ankle (gruesome injury where the foot is flapping in a direction it normally does not move) when he was 16 while blocking a shot. Nojel had 3 screws inserted in his foot and now Nojel says he can not tell he ever had the injury. Nojel now a big part of Purdue’s success this year. All injuries and recoveries are different but point is excellent outcomes are possible. With some good care and therapy no reason Taylor can’t be healed and ready to go some time late 2019.

Screws should help hold him together for a few years. Probably the best move for him. GWS!

I’ve had an ankle full of hardware for years now, and run 3.5 miles everyday. Other than the 4-6 months recovery, could be just what’s needed to correct the issue, and provide the stability needed to play basketball.

Why wasn't this done in September, October November, December?

Ever been to a doctor? There’s a treatment path starting with least invasive. They obviously thought option 1 had a chance for success, with the possibility of TB playing this year.

Why do injuries keep happening to this program. Seemingly similar injuries. And, they take forever to heal. Are they not being allowed to heal before getting back out there causing lingering issues like what happened to Taylor (hopefully he's allowed to completely heal? Something is definitely up and is probably the reason keyshawn is bad. Something doesn't seem right.

:text-+1: exactly and maybe Taylor started coming back and the first option of treatment ,non-surgical, did not do the trick so now plan b
