Maybe not lead the country in scoring, assists, rebounds, steals, or blocks but we'lll definitely lead the country in stress fractures...again.

The evidence sure seems to suggest this. I think Dan needs to find alternative conditioning drills. There needs to be some biking, speed squats, elliptical work, etc. The frequency of foot injuries that his players have sustained over the years is alarming.

Yoga

The NDSU Bison football team is big on yoga training for the team. Maybe Dan should add it.

So we are now down either 2 starters or a starter and a bench player that was going to play a lot of minutes. Can we now say STL or bust? Because going through this non-conference down two important players means we will probably slip up a game or two and we don't have the luxury of losing game or two in non-conf.

No. According to some on this board that is a "defeatist attitude." I would refrain from suggesting that.

Stressed foot bones started in the Stallings era, then ended and came back with Muller. I think there's a connection. We had multiple 5th metatarsal breaks under HCKS. I told him at a coaches show he needed to get an orthopedic shoe sponsor . Guess he passed the luck along to HCDM

That can be your thesis for you doctorate, 'cuz I know you want to be Dr. Hulka.

Not a podiatrist though. Proctology is my calling

Do you do one on one home visits?

I'm inclined to wait until they lace them up, play some games, and see what we have before predicting St Louis or bust. That's just me.

A friend saw Keyshawn at a store this weekend; he said he was moving around real well and was pretty sure he wasn't in a boot. Hopefully the 2 to 4 week injury has already run it's course.

Even with a healthy TB and KE, I see this as a team that needs to win in the Lou.
In other words, I’m no longer drinking the off-season Kool Aid.

If you are mentally conceding an at large now the reality is that you might as well mentally concede winning the arch too as ISU has done neither in over 20 seasons...especially if this is an “up” year in the MVC as running the table in the MVC tourney will likely be real difficult.

Key was wearing a boot at the football game Saturday. Taylor was on crutches Sunday evening at the Reggies. Both are upbeat and opitmistic about getting back to action soon.

Somebody has to run the table in St. Louis.

That's just awful. I feel sorry for Taylor.

Hopefully he can make it back but injuries like these end careers.

Screws should help hold him together for a few years. Probably the best move for him. GWS!

He should probably be thinking about baseball. So sad for Taylor or anyone trying to realize a dream.

Hopefully he can still become the basketball player he wants to be.

On another note, maybe his surgeon can tighten the screws a few of our posters have loose.
