When has there been these moronic criticisms of his son? I always respected Pops and loved the insight he brought as a parent of a redbird player.

But Pedon has played Malachi at the 1,2, and 3 during his time at ISU. He has tried to do everything he can to get the kid going. He’s just not making shots, as is the rest of team. But I know Pops said that Pedon isn’t utilizing Malachi right and that comes from him as a parent, not what’s best for the team.

I am fine with him choosing not to post but don’t put it on fans and posters because there has been a lot of positive from posters hoping Malachi rebounds from a rough shooting season.
The harshest thing anyone has said about Malachi is that he makes some of his shots harder than necessary. He was a dynamic player to start the year. Now he’s pressing and his shot isn’t falling. Nobody has taken any personal shots or anything. If we can’t talk about a players performance then just shut down the board.

Years ago a bunch of us who post here played a pick-up game at Redbird Arena. It was not pretty.

If you limited the game the five most active posters, I can only imagine how ugly it’d get…
Gobirds85's mental health is a serious question mark at this point...He's delusional thinks his team won some of those games. That said, I would welcome Pedon coming out to 4 Seasons on the weekends and watching my group play pick up and providing commentary. It'd be hilarious.

Its not a subjective list, that's how. He is productive with rebounding which is probably causing his efficiency to go up in his limited minutes.
I think Lieb gets too much hate. If he just plays a role like Ndiaye did in 2017 he's perfectly fine. Be the backup big man who rebounds, plays defense, and is a rim protector. Just stop shooting the 3 ball and work on offensive rebounds for putbacks, or drop off dunks from a guard driving

Come to the Y and challenge my group. 85 can ref - seeing as he has never thought a zebra did a credible job, he could stand to see what it’s like to wear the stripes.

Maybe it’s coaching then. Because when Ndiaye came into games during the 2017 season, he did a great job of taking the interior away from opposing teams because he could block shots and protect the paint. And he was a solid rebounder. With Lieb, teams just kill isu with matchups because Lieb prefers to leak on the perimeter and hates to grab rebounds if he is going to experience any contact.

We love to dog Muller but he got a lot more out of Ndiaye than what we have gotten out of Lieb.
