Success in Pedon's first year

I always cringed when Strong would launch a trey, then he turns out to be one of the top shooters in the NCAA. Who knew ?

Was his inconsistency. When on he was amazing. When off he was really bad. There seemed to be no middle ground for him.

Not to rain on parades, but considering many on here enjoyed stomping on graves.

I'm guessing a lot of low-scoring 3rd-place finishes with 4500 for a Bradley game and 2200 on a good Thursday.

My only expectations are an aggressive, hustling defense that rebounds well and to average 10 or less turnovers a game. If those items are done wins and attendance will take care of themselves.

• A team that gets better as the year moves on.
• A team that peaks for the tournament.
• A team that does not just play to its level of competition.....consistency!
• A team full of player that are proud to be representing ISU.

I am happy to support any team that can give me these four "simple" things.....except for when they play Evansville.

14 teams had TOPG of 10 or less last year. Ohio State avg'd 11.2. Birds avg'd 13.8. 10 or fewer may be a bit of a stretch.

This is one of my goals! When was the last time we had a team that won 3-5 road games in a season or when have we last won any road game period?
