Banks crossed the halfcourt line and dribbled 12 times before he threw a pass to Poindexter who dribbled 8 times. Both got stuck and passed it back to each other before a pass to Kinziger for a contested three. Zero screens, 20 dribbles, 3 guys touch the ball, bad shot. I really do not understand why Pedon allows it. He's too smart to think that's good offense.

I don’t think banks is capable of making a pass unless he eats at least 10 seconds of the shot clock.

agree with you Slack but i am uncertain what our alternatives are offensively given that we are a smaller team that also shoots poorly. usually small teams shoot better but we defy that tendency. though burford is a strictly me first player there is not much redbird offensive ammo without him

Not sure what Johnny has to do to get fouls called. Pretty sure there've been a couple where it would be considered battery if it happened on the street. You can tell he's frustrated as hell. He's getting pushed, grabbed, pulled . . . and crickets from the refs . . .

It is always interesting to see your team through the eyes of the opponent’s broadcast team. They see nothing but the positive in “former Saluki Dalton Banks.” He is having a decent game, but they admire him a lot more than most on this board.

They have accurately assessed how awful we are from 3…, and they do seem to have an appreciation for Johnny….

He was a fine player last year playing 15 minutes a game on a 20+ win team versus the starting point guard on the previous southern teams that did absolutely nothing.

That’s the frustration with banks on this years team. He shouldn’t be a starter.
