Totally robbed of 7 points by the replay official (I think they said his name was Ray Charles)! Robinson is running wild and the O-Line is absolutely destroying the SEMO D-Line and Backers. Great route and catch by Edgar (so good to see him back) but that was a beautiful throw by Jefferson! He had a guy in his face and put it right on the money. He does not have to pass a great deal but if he can pass like that now and then they are in pretty decent shape. Go Redbirds!

I think Austin Peay is considered best DL on OVC, but SEMO is considered best pass pass defense .. ranked about 15th in FCS pass defense QBR, but #1 in OVC. They usually go 3-3-5, but play their OLBs up and send their DBs to stuff runs a lot. Their front 3 is just there to gum things up .. clearly, our OL is not letting their DL do that because Robinson is rarely getting touched at LOS. He only needs 1 or 2 yards of room to take on LBer and DBs.

And you can see our confidence growing .. Jefferson is playing a very smart game so far and we have Edgar back. His TD will help loosen things for Robinson. Would love to see a few more QB keepers this half .. Robinson is going to tire some. And lets give it McCloyn a couple times ...if SEMO thinks Robinson is hard to tackle, good luck with McCloyn.

Missed two face mask penalties on Robinson, a personal foul for ripping the helmet off of Jefferson, and just a blatant screw-up on the scoop & score reversal.

I thought the same thing. I'm guessing it was starting to come off since he came off the field the next play.
