Any word on Chastain?
You may feel confident but this does not set up well with 8 players and the road. I went to the Loyola uic game Saturday and uic was scrappy and hung around most of the game. This is not a game to feel confident about given the depleted roster. Gotta believe UIC comes hard at ISU both physically and tempo given we only have 8. This game seems like a coin toss to me. If ISU can get out of there with a one point victory I would happily take that and scoot back home feeling good.Retire 12 said:UICs wins are against national powerhouse William & Mary (by 5... in OT), a D2 school, and the chumps over in Peoria.
If this is a game we're concerned about... then write off St. Louis.
This is like going on the road to Evansville. We should expect to come out of this one with a win.

I'll state my prediction again . . . I hope we win.

I hope they win, too. But, to answer your question losing to a crap UIC team and barely beating Chicago state does in fact give us a hint at the state of our program. Hopefully, we can avoid that.

ISU is a -1.5 point favorite. If UIC is a crap team, well, you fill in the blank.

ESPN has them at even right now. I am disappoint.

how does this chat function work? is it only on the desktop version of the site? does anyone use it, or does everyone still post here during the game?

Feels like the perfect storm for a disastrous performance. Also it’s not like ISU has set the world on fire against teams that they are more talented than (or less talented than). I hope I’m wrong but,
UIC-80
ISU-68
