The Paris Lee team was good as he was partially responsible because of the defense. They played it as a team that all started with Lee and Wills. I also think Paris Lee was a good floor general on the offensive side. Dean Oliver contributions to our guards was also a big reason for the success.

I like DJ Horne. He knows how to score and his future looks bright. It would be nice to see us develop as a team though. Unlike many, I would say our talent level is in the middle of the valley pack. Our team play is rock bottom. Just my opinion.
I agree, team development is key. Also recruit to your strengths. Let's hope that this year we learn and improve as a collective unit and come out stronger because of it!

Our guards play is middle of the pack our front court the past two years has been bottom of the barrel.

I was curious since joining the MVC in 81-82 how many times ISU has lost by 30 or more points in a regular season conference game. Only happened 6 times (that I see) in the 39 years ISU has been in the MVC. Plus, 2 MVC championship game losses to Bradley in 88 and Drake in 08.

1991 lost to Tulsa by 41
99-00 lost to Creighton by 38
03-04 lost to Evansville by 31
16-17 lost to Wichita by 41
20-21 lost to Loyola by 30 and 31
So Muller was coach in 4 of these...

There's our problem. We either need to be one pack or one barrel. We can't be partially a pack and partially a barrel. Dan needs to quit mixing our team metaphors!
