Down 13-7 at under 12. 6 TOs, 5 fouls, 4 rebounds, 3 FGs . . . we're backward.

Anyone else notice that Sissoko got called for a block on Krutwig before any contact was made and before the shot went up? Crazy stuff, man.

Ugly start. Could and probably shot be a lot worse. Defense has been surprisingly decent.

As if things were not already bad enough I see Pollard is doing this game

about to mention the same thing, and we get this crew both games ... Pollard on court generally does not mean good things for the 'birds

At least he can’t throw a spectator out this game 😳.

In a world where you play back to back games, Pollard is definitely one Muller didn’t want to see

Muller was talking to him after the last timeout. Presumably about how Krutwig uses his body to play defense. Pollard is certainly not the reason these games will go poorly, but it definitely doesn’t help.

Watch ISUs next possession on o and Loyola’s. Loyola doesn’t stop moving. Birds stand around and make it really easy for the Blers to play defense.

He tossed a cardboard cutout before the game even started. ;)

Down 30-17 at under 4. Honestly, I don't think Loyola has played well, at all. We've just been awful.

I know we play poor defense, but if we could score a little on offense we wouldn’t be hanging our heads quite so bad. The problem with our last several years has been a horrific offense. No screens away from ball. No passes to inside. No back cut. Ball screen and jack- ball screen and jack, ball screen and jack.

But the worst part is gonna be, on the second game of a back to back our opponents will adapt and change and we will continue to do the same thing. It will not surprise me if we are 0-9 on second games. Hope I am wrong.

Playing back to back days, we might see subs getting in sooner than normal.
