I didn't look on the "official" list before posting, but the Minneapolis newspaper today said Luther Kirk missed practice yesterday with a hamstring injury and it was expected he's be waived today with an injury designation.

Trib writer Brad Biggs has never had any time for Tre, has rarely mentioned him and never given him any props. Maybe he's been right, maybe Tre will get nothing from the Bears.

Wonder if Bears asked him to do this yo hide him ... which is both good and horrible to do at same time.

The Broncos waived Drew Himmelman but are hoping he clears waivers so they can put him on the practice squad.

I feel bad for Trufant. Life is full of tough choices. I would hope they put him on the taxi squad.

As a 9 year vested vet I don’t think Trufant is eligible for the PS. Plus he’s still owed $3.5 million from the Lions this year.

NFL teams are allowed to carry up to six veterans with no limitations to number of accrued seasons on the practice squad and four players who have earned no more than two accrued seasons. All clubs are allowed to promote two players to the active roster for gamedays, expanding the gameday roster to 55.

Well some news - at least Tre's got a contract (similar thing happened with BJ Bello)

Injured Reserve​

The Bears’ IR list features two notable names. Both OL Teven Jenkins and LB Danny Trevathan were added to the IR. Both players will miss at least three weeks before they can be added back to the active roster. In addition, CB Tre Roberson and DT LaCale London were both added to the season-ending IR. Both players will not be able to play this season but will remain with the organization.
