Surprised about Schnell .. thought he did enough. He'll get another shot for sure. Bears are loaded at Receiver so that won't happen. But have to believe some other roster has an opening for guy like Schnell. Probably needs a little more weight, but he will only get bigger and better in next 2 years.

Bello .. no matter what happens to him, he will always be my favorite ISUr FBS grad transfer story .. mired on 3rd string and special teams at U of I as 4th year SR, last gasp transfer to ISU, than 1 year later makes an NFL game roster .... hope he lands one more time.

Davontae Harris.... spellchecked !! He should also get another serious shot. I still think he should just move to safety. His numbers scream Safety more than corner .. just needs to add 5 lbs maybe.

That is really a tough break .. never a good time, but better early in season, than later ... it improves his chances for returning by next season. So I think he's more likely to be given another shot.

That is a great spot for Devontae to be. He's got a veteran no nonsense HC in Fangio who loves larger physical corners that can tackle and he's got one of the best secondary coaches in the last 30 years in Ed Donatell. Those guys demand toughness and being assignment sound and that is exactly what Harris brings.

in addition he's on a rebuilding team that will give young players a chance to play. Best thing for him was getting out of Cincy.
