Good move for him. Close to home and he's still young enough to make a good living and grab some retirement.

Luke was a highly underrated QB for ISU. Made good decisions, had an accurate arm and rarely made boneheaded mistakes. Good for him.

This is old news, so sorry if it has already been posted, but Denver Johnson stepped down as HC at Missouri Southern State. Was 3-33 in four seasons. Yikes.

Got it's own thread, back on page 5 or so of the old topics.

I was wondering if he got into something else, or retired, or . . .?

The google machine turned up nothing. My guess would be retired, but I would bet he could get a D-1 O-Line job somewhere if he wanted to. As I recall, he was O-Line coach at Tulsa and Colorado after leaving ISU.

Denver should be really really happy he had Boomer and Cameron Siskowick at LB. Boomer was one of the best football players I'd ever seen when he was on. Would have loved to see him actually play the position he won national awards for playing when in the NFL.

Coach Johnson’s wife is very sick and I believe his top priority is caring for her.

Very sorry to hear that. Coach is a real good guy and I hope she gets well.

Denver's old DC, Randall McCray is back in the league with the Cardinals. He came to ISU from Murray St. with Denver. No more recruiting for Coach McCrazy! At least for a few years.

The Broncos put a 2nd round tender on Shelby Hattis, who is a restricted free agent. If another team signs him, they owe Denver a 2nd. If the Broncos sign him back, he'll make multiple millions of $.

Anyone keeping track of the Bachelor? My wife says it's a embarrassing shitshow this season.

some younger ladies at work keep me up to speed .. but the fence jump was very impressive. Not sure why he never used that move as an edge rusher at ISU ... its killer impressive move ... Richard Dent did something similar against 49ers LT once to sack Montana.

Heard on the radio that Shelby was offered $3.095 M for 1 year by someone. Didn't catch who.

"Harris has been told by the Broncos they will use a restricted free-agent tender on him, Nicki Jhabvala of The Athletic reports.
The move will give Harris a salary of $3.095 million for the 2019 season, unless he finds a new contract elsewhere. He is free to sign with any team, but Denver will hold the right to sign him to the same deal for the next five days or they will receive a second-round pick. Last year with Denver, the 2014 draft pick recorded 23 tackles and 1.5 sacks while playing 24.4 defensive snaps per game."

Great news for a Great Redbird

Good for Marshuan!!

In other news, Galen Scott has rebounded (the article indicates this was not his first job after getting the hook at VA Tech.)

https://meangreensports.com/news/20...green-as-linebackers-coach.aspx?path=football
Galen Scott has been named the Mean Green's linebackers coach, head coach Seth Littrell announced Thursday.

Scott, who was hired by Old Dominion in January to serve as their defensive backs coach, joins the Mean Green after coaching the defensive backs at Rowlett High School in 2018.
