Still playing with a 4 trying to guard a 5 and 4 guards- I thought they’d finally figured out they needed rebounding and defense- last years excuse was we didn’t have them, now they’ve got them and still not playing 5s- come on

Birds should win this game. Defensively playing well. Shot have got to start falling hopefully sooner rather than later

Cut it to one then promptly allow four offensive rebounds: a big to dribble off his foot and then foul a three-point shooter.

This has been really frustrating.

Metamoran....I was at the Wichita State game in '83. I believe they also had Aubrey Sherrod at guard who was tremendous. Yes, we won and alcohol was absolutely involved. It was very cold and a bunch of us wore large winter coats and brought in as many beers as we could carry. We stood virtually the entire game in the upper bowl and when you wanted to drink you just sat down and pounded one. Great memories!

Anyone know what happened? I couldn't imagine coach Pedon ever getting that fired up. I only know what the announcers said on the ESPN+ feed. Will be interesting to hear the post game press conference.

The espn+ announcers said the fan apparently said something racial, which is upsetting, which is what set off the Norfolk coach. Not sure why Pedon got so heated though

The NSU player has been instigating since the game started. Fans gave it to him there. (Sadly, there may have been something inappropriate said to the player; no excuse for that)

The ref separated it and was talking to the players. NSU coach takes exception. Ref came over and separated it and then was giving the player a talking to about interacting with fans. Their coach apparently took exception and started screaming at the refs. Pedon started screaming at their coach, and they met at half court. There will probably be a review to see what appeared to be physical contact.

I’m guessing he said something to Pedon. Sorry, my point wasn’t to detail frame by frame every second of it.
