Scholarships by state/country

Illinois - 3
Iowa - 1
Georgia - 1
Mali - 1
Missouri - 1
Ohio - 1
Virginia - 1
Wisconsin - 2

Open - 2

It looks like the last Redbird from Wisconsin was Julius Moor from the 2007-08 team and now we have 2 players from there. I honestly don't recall him even though he was on the team for 2 years. 15 years without a recruit from our neighbors to the north. Over those 15 years we have had more recruits from Alaska, North Dakota, New Mexico, Sweden, Barbados and other remote basketball hubs.

Not exactly sure since I was just JV but I watched a lot of practices and games. Pretty even scoring throughout the 3-4 main seniors
What did Ty average in hs?
I read he averaged 13.5ppg. Saw Ty play Certa in the State Farm Holiday Classic and Ty shut him down. Then in the Sectionals Ty got an asthma attack and couldn't guard Certa. Really good get for a walk-on, a kid who looks hungry and gives 100% effort.
Welcome Ty, glad you're a Redbird.

Sissoko has officially announced he is returning via Instagram. Leaves two scholarships to fill.

He is one of the few players for several years that have been at ISU for four years. Personally, I’d like his effort and happy he is back.
Happy he is back because he is loyal to isu basketball? Or happy because you think he will be anything more than 5 fouls a game if he gets minutes next year? Great block against Edwardsville but after 2 coaches and 3 years at ISU, we have seen this guys ceiling.

I still have hopes this guy can give us/himself some decent minutes/games. Gotta learn to keep his hands to himself, as Redbirdfan06 points out. Would be really nice to see him put on 10-15 pounds of muscle, power up inside, get after it. He'll never be a star, but if he's staying, maximize!!

What is it you expect from the 12th or 13th player on the bench. I’m thankful he stayed committed to Redbird Nation.

He started 11 games last year. You really think this teams bigs next year is that much of an upgrade where he becomes the 12-13 guy on a roster.

I'm all for getting Davis. I would imagine that picking him up would cut a lot into Kinziger or Pence's minutes. Banks, Poindexter, Burford, Davis, Kasubke, Pence, and Kinziger competing for 3 spots.

I truly think he has some talent. It comes out at times, but not consistently. I also love his dedication to the program. That is hard to find now.

Sissoko is exactly what Muller wanted to recruit, Uber-athletic guys he could teach to shoot. Thing is his shot was already decent, his defense has never been . . . If he can grasp the defensive side, he could be a big help. If . . . if . . . if
