can we not keep a single thread even remotely on topic?

No, not if the pissers and moaners can find a way to rip ISU, Lyons, Elgin, the MVC, the people who don't piss and moan, etc. etc. in the thread.

It is the tourney and I always root for the valley teams. It hurts that it is Bradley and feels wrong on so many levels but it is what it is.

Bradley sucks. Wardle sucks. But the right MVC team is in the tourney. The Braves are playing hard, smart, and with heart.

I am not rooting for Bradley. Any other MVC team has my cheers in this situation. I said after the Saturday games in STL that this season does not count. No matter what.

Watching this game, Michigan State thought they could walk through at 15 seed, again. MSU's biggest issue is that they have been playing WAY too much 1 on 1 ball with their PG (Winston, I believe?). He is dribbling into traffic and hoping the bigs bail him out.

Childs is going to get some P5 attention this off season. For the sake of the league, I hope he stays. For the sake of the Birds, I hope he leaves.

I’m now rooting for Bradley...an extra NCAA unit could be helpful with future buyouts. That is the only way we will ever see ISU in this tourney.

Looks like Bradley is running out of steam.

Yeah me too. Tough but also tough to root against a team that plays hard and smart on both ends of the court.

No way Bradley should be within 10 points of MSU, yet here we are.

This Bradley team I'm watching is everything the Birds were not this season.

Here's hoping a new vibe permeates ISU next year.

Bradley battled hard and went down respectively... that loss for Bradley fans more painful than a blowout

I was rooting for Belmont and Murray State over Bradley. Belmont and Murray State should be in the MVC.... so.... I'll root for them.

HORRIBLE FINAL POSSESSION BY BELMONT. Lots of wasted time and turned it over.

Bradley has decided to deny you their unit

So unbecoming how petty so many on this board are. Congrats to Bradley. They did what we may never do...hang with a powerhouse program in the NCAA.

Thought it was a good game. I think Childs was playing for his future elsewhere. I think I have heard that he and Wardle don't see eye to eye. How about Izzo having to be retrained from his one player multiple times? Yikes that looks bad when a coach is doing that.

MSU sleepwalked through that game while their coach raged at a Freshman on the sidelines.

Muller didn’t get blown out by Louisville, Maryland, and Kentucky. Our biggest win in the last 21 years is an Arch Madness semifinal game. Someday we will be good again.

MVC reject Murray State leading Big East runner-up by 17. Some brilliant minds running the league.

By “good” do you mean 19-14? ‘Cause that seems to pass around here as a great season.

Above .500 is a great season anymore at ISU. No longer is making the NCAA tournament the expectation. I miss playing in this thing.
