I watch Purdue yesterday. They would kill Mo State. Yeah, they aren’t in the Valley- but i guess that’s the reason we will get only one team in.No but I think they would have taken anyone in the valley tonight.

They were so good tonight, Dan shouldn’t have shown up. It has nothing to do with the amazing offense and defense they brought to Springfield. Give me a break. Isu was completely unprepared and got out hustled, out toughed and flat out beat. Anyone who followed closely over the muller era is not surprised, he is the king of inconsistency…. The sign of a great coach. But no, it’s not his fault, he just faced too tough of an opponent, give him a pass.I watch Purdue yesterday. They would kill Mo State. We have some talent. They have some fight but we have no leader on the floor or on the bench. We need to stop giving teams 20 point plus leads and expect to come back. This is not a recipe for success. It’s a recipe for another Thursday night exit.
Loyola beat the big ten champion last year, I agree top to bottom the mvc can’t compete however the best teams in the mvc can and should.Yes Purdue is a potential Final Four Team. Our conference teams are not going head to head against Purdue to get in the tournament.
Loyola struggled to beat indiana st the other night. How in the world are they going to beat Purdue? They aren’t the same team as last year.Loyola beat the big ten champion last year, I agree top to bottom the mvc can’t compete however the best teams in the mvc can and should.
Agree, this years Loyola team is not that of last. My point however was that the top mvc teams have been able to compete with the big dogs. Hell isu fought Wisconsin to the wire. They however would have trouble in a 20 game conference schedule. There are no games like Evansville, valpo isu etc for the big ten teams.Loyola struggled to beat indiana st the other night. Reeves and Fleming combined for 19 first half points and 0 second half
Freeman had a nice second half
We let the early tight officiating set the tone and played on our heels the rest of the game. Nobody attacked Prim, we just took fade away shots.
If Reeves takes\makes the final shot of the first half, and makes the wide open 3 off a steal early in the second half then perhaps its a different outcome. Probably not a win, but a competitive game at least
Coffin nail game
This is what upset me last night. We let Prim his flopping and the refs take use out of our game, it affected the entire game mentally. Once Lewis got the T it was over because that turned it into a 20 point game. Once the nail was in the coffin at that point with Reeves and Strong struggling was glad to see Dan rest the guys. Getting rest was more important then going after that game.
Another note with the game Dana and MOST is starting to get on my nerves. His leaping ability, sidelines antics then Prim and his flopping ability make it very easy to root against them.
They took Michigan state to the wire leading most of the game before losing on a last second bucket earlier this year so I'd say they would at least keep it competitiveLoyola struggled to beat indiana st the other night.
