It's bad enough that Illinois State University is in the same conference as Valpo, to throw NKU on top of that would be truly embarrassing. How low does the bar have to fall before the decision makers at Illinois State get off their asses?

It's bad enough that Illinois State University is in the same conference as Valpo, to throw NKU on top of that would be truly embarrassing. How low does the bar have to fall before the decision makers at Illinois State get off their asses?

NKU has one of the best mid-major arenas in the country.

Real questions: when the NCAA splits off the “professional” division, will being in the MAC or CUSA or other ‘FBS’ conference be of any real added value? Will enough bowls survive to leave room for the non-pro divisions? Will relegation become a thing in NCAA divisions?

I can’t help but feel like jumping to the lesser FBS conferences is like scrambling to afford the latest fashion just as the fashion goes out of style.

NDSU and SDSU would have no problem with them. SIU won at NIU. South Dakota is better than W Michigan and NIU (and possibly Miami)
