Looks like a Sophomore after sitting out a year.

From SJSU:

“AT SJSU: Completed his first active season as a redshirt freshman in 2017-18 ...ESPN.com rated Fisher as the No. 2 power forward in the state of California when he signed a NLI with the Spartans in November of 2015.

2017-18: The only player to start all 30 games … Second-leading scorer at 10.4 points per game while grabbing 6.3 rebounds per contest … Led the team with 25 steals … Double-figure scoring in 15 games including three 20-point games … Led the Spartans in scoring six times including five of the last seven games … Extended his career-scoring high twice in one week with 23 points at Colorado State (2/10) and 26 points at Wyoming (2/17) … One of three double-doubles included 15 points and a career-high 13 rebounds in the win at Santa Clara (12/21) … Scored 17 points and had 13 rebounds versus Fresno State (2/14) … Career-high four assists at Colorado State (2/10).

2016-17: Spent the season as a redshirt.”

Another Big. It looks like last season he played as a RS freshman. 6'8 215. Only player at SJSU to start all 30 games last season averaging 10.4 points and 6.3 rebounds. He was the No.2 PF in the state of California when he signed his NLI in 2015 and he's from LA.

Tough to see how he won't lose a year of eligibility since he redshirted the 16-17 season and played the 17-18 season.

Seems to be a replacement for Phil.

Verbal commits has him listed as a 215lb, 6'8" 3 star PF. I like all of those qualities. Pretty soon we are going to have to trade the bench seats for the student section. We now have more players than students that show up to most games.

Looks like a great "get" but with a redshirt already used, pretty sure he would only have 2 years of eligibility left.

R.S. was not his decision. It was medical due to an ACL tear. So it seems he will follow the same route as Chastain. Sit 1, play three.

Here is a feature on him. Seems like a really good, humble kid.

But Fisher redshirted and has already played a season.

Sit 1 play 2.

That's a good point. We'll see how this pans out. It would be great to get 3 years out of him.

So also we now have two transfers from San Jose St. That seems odd, but welcome addition!

Heard Fisher was on campus this weekend and Hillsman was urging him to join him.

Crazy offseason, but hard not to be excited about the present and future with some talent and depth in the building.
