defense started well but started slipping. Normally give a little in pass game then start tightening up ... today seems opposite. Way to soft cover schemes.

Offense ... just bad. I know UNI defense is good, but 2 first downs in a half with our RBs ?? We're getting completely outcoached and outplayed again. OL needs to man up .. hell, just show up.

defense run game is very solid ... but pass defense in Q2 was horrible. Combination of not getting any pressure on QB and our very soft pass cover ... got to force something somewhere ... way to f-ing passive against a good QB.

Offensively .. hard to say what to do if OL goes AWOL.like this. Kolbe needs to find a way to make passes and loosen things up. Maybe I over-estimated OC Beathard .. or maybe our OL is regressing as teams scout us .. some games the OL just looks overwhelmed. It all starts in trenches.

That's game. Time to reevaluate recruiting, play-calling, and practice because we have been playing so bad to put it nicely.

Both picks were all on Kolbe .. tunnel vision. This is not the Kolbe that led this team as a Sophomore. His confidence is just not there .. and our OL has gone from very promising early in year to garbage. I don't even believe they;re this bad .. I think they are just not as good as we thought ... and they are disillusioned and playing worse as a resuilt. There was bound to be some difficulties on offense given all out tough games were latter half of season ... but this is steep drop off is not a good sign.

Spack definitely deserves more time but I hope he can feel the heat on his arse.

What bothers me about ISU/Spack's football team this year is the low IQ at times. That is on the coaches.

A. Delayed run.
B. Shirt pass into coverage.

That doesn't take too much to get a hold of.

Have we even attempted an passes over 25 yards? 20 yards?
