South lots, east of RA. Giant CindyGate flag. Can't miss it.Our schedule just freed up for Saturday, and we're not scared of some wind. So, my wife and I are going to make the trip. The only question I have - is @Cindy00 Gate still in the same spot? Hope to see some of you there if so.
Sounds like the same spot to me! Thanks.South lots, east of RA. Giant CindyGate flag. Can't miss it.
Between CEFCU and Turner on the grassy area next to College Ave. We'll be there at 7 am setting up. Hoping the wind isn't to bad so we can have the tents up, otherwise really hope the rain isn't to bad.Sounds like the same spot to me! Thanks.
North Dakota on the road will be tough in the final week. Need to seal up a spot in the playoffs before then! Need to win 2 out of next 3 games. I believe this team will be able to get in at 7-4. That used to be a given in the MVFC. The league is tougher than it gets credit for this year.Fun game to watch. The broadcast did not kick in until after the pick six so I missed that. Seems ISU is the very worst at broadcasting. Almost always seem to be technical issues of some kind. Also the camera work on this broadcast was pretty bad. Still the game was solid and Zach had a very good game. The defense bounced back totally. Keep it up heading into next week!
I watched the NDSU v ND game before I switched to the Redbirds. North Dakota looked very good. NDSU did not look bad but I think there time has passed. A good football team still but not close to a dominating football team. I hope that is the case. Nothing against the NDSU fans but I am sick of seeing the Bison walk over the entire FCS. I think it will be better for the game as a whole to restore some competition. The Bison get WIU and Murray State next so almost certainly a couple of wins there. Then they play SDSU in Brookings. I have to pick the Jackrabbits in that one. A three loss season for the vaunted Bison? Their fans will be jumping off rooftops.
Good game today Redbirds!
The crowd on tv looked really bad.
As for the TV broadcast, they are ALWAYS junk. It's come up here before. It's nice to have games televised, but the production from Marquee is awful. Cameras aren't H-D, audio is garbage (never not a malfunction of some kind), the camera work is lazy and unsteady, the graphics are amateur and the direction is lacking. I've said it before, it looks like HS game film from the 90s.
Besides the very late start to the broadcast, the camera work bad and whomever was directing this mess evidently was trying to be artistic. Before the plays shots a player, rapid change to another view, rapid change to another view and then focusing in on a side shot just before the snap. Quite a few shots of plays from the end zone as well. Someone needs to tell them the worst seats in the house are end zone seats. So why insist on so many end zone shots. The camera person lost the play quite a few times. We only saw one touchdown because of replay. I know these are students for the most part but this telecast was crap. Someone should tell them to drop the artistic efforts and just show the game action. Camera people...don't watch the action over the camera...LOOK THROUGH THE LENSE! I could go on but I am glad I get to watch the Redbirds from here in Virginia. It is just irritating sometimes with the very poor quality of the broadcasts. I watch quite a few FCS games and my own opinion is the ISU broadcasts are the worst. Granted I watch them more than anyone else but I just don't see the same poor camera work and particularly the terrible direction. Okay sorry, done with my rant. I was just mad when the game finally came on and it was 7-0 already. I had to go to Randy's X (twitter) posts to find out what happened!
not so sure 7-4 will get us in, unless we have mostly quality wins and losses.North Dakota on the road will be tough in the final week. Need to seal up a spot in the playoffs before then!
