The mopes on the bradley board suggest the NCAA should investigate because Milik is using payed lawyers (I guess insinuating his family can't afford a lawyer). They are getting desperate here in Peoria...I guess they realize they'll never be able to beat us on the basketball court so they are grasping at straws to hurt the best program in the conference and state.
The Bradley and Loyola fans are on attack mode on Twitter.

I don't care about the attacks. I just choose not to read them. However, Muller needs to understand how this looks on the program, who's reputation is in the toilet. Muller has said he understands how this might look to the people who do not know the facts, but he can't share them at this time. He also says that is not all on him- its the legalities of the matter. If the real story can come out, it needs to. Usually, I am very pro-coach or pro-player that the details can and should remain in-house. However, in this case, with Milik as a repeat alleged offender, and the history of some troubled issues in the program, the story needs to come out.

Perhaps that's just me sounding entitled as a fan but collectively, we have put a lot of time and money into this program. To have its reputation drug through the mud each season is disheartening and tightens my pockets a bit. I don't give 1/100 of what many on this board do. But I do like to think I am apart of the "next generation of potential donors." Money talks, if those bigger donors on here shared opinions similar to the AD, who knows. Maybe we'll get a chance to hold everyone accountable. I feel this is a situation where if there is no story, like suggested by Muller, than they should tell us what happened, where the story originated, and what the involvement is.
I donate a fair amount and I'm a four sport season ticket holder. My opinion is I don't give a flying fig what Bradley fans think. I just don't.

I like and trust Coach Muller. If he thinks we should know, that's fine. If not, that's fine too.

I have talked with him enough to say he always has the best interests of his players in mind. I trust he does the right thing as he sees it

Milik Yarbrough, 22, of Normal was charged as of Sept. 12, 2018, with failure to provide information and render aid in an injury-related accident. He was released on $1,500 bond. According to a Normal police report, Yarbrough's vehicle allegedly struck a woman at 2:27 a.m. Sept. 9 as she stepped into the street in the 300 block of North Fell Avenue.

Again, I’m good with whatever Muller decides. He has more details on the incident, and seems to have a good moral compass. I trust Dan to do the right thing.

Yup. If what I heard is true, this whole thing is a complete joke and there’s no reason for him not to be participating with the team.

What you heard is absolutely true then.

If Millik spends any jail time, I wonder if he can get me an autograph from Bill Cosby

Doing the right thing regardless of how it looks to those who don't have the facts yet builds a good reputation. Continuing to punish a player who you believe doesn't deserve further punishment in order to look good to outsiders constructs a fake reputation that easily crumbles. Making decisions based on how others will view them is letting others make those decisions for you. I trust Coach Muller's judgment and I'm glad he's doing what he believes is right. If people who support other schools don't like it, I don't care.
Well stated.

Isn't what he did a hit and run?

What - specifically - did he do?

That's just what it sounds like from this.

I bet next time when Milik asks for his money she gives him his money.

I believe he either didn't stop, didn't provide identification, or reasonable assistance. However, the fact that this is charged as a misdemeanor and not a felony sheds some light on the severity of the injuries and/or his actions ... especially if they had two passengers come forward per the story. Otherwise it would have been charged as a felony. Nevertheless, based on the charges (assuming valid), he failed to do one of the previously mentioned activities.

On public access its charged under traffic not even criminal misdemeanor.

Thanks. I've read that, too, and still not entirely sure what happened. I'm going to trust Dan's judgment until more detail comes to light.

Yesterday was Milik's hearing. Not sure of the outcome or any specifics other than what is publicly available on the county clerk's cite.

Would have thought a Pantagraph reporter would make an appearance if it was an open court. Who knows, maybe Tornado was there.

Another hearing set for December per county site.

If anyone is curious on how this ended up, Milik pleaded guilty. He has to pay all court fines ($1,038.50), 20 hours of community service, and 12-months of court supervision... Anyone with a legal background know if this changes anything about when he can start playing overseas?
