Funny exchange between Milik and Keyshawn following today's practice. It starts with Milik saying it was tough and that he's tired. And goes here...

The mopes on the bradley board suggest the NCAA should investigate because Milik is using payed lawyers (I guess insinuating his family can't afford a lawyer). They are getting desperate here in Peoria...I guess they realize they'll never be able to beat us on the basketball court so they are grasping at straws to hurt the best program in the conference and state.

I don't care about the attacks. I just choose not to read them. However, Muller needs to understand how this looks on the program, who's reputation is in the toilet. Muller has said he understands how this might look to the people who do not know the facts, but he can't share them at this time. He also says that is not all on him- its the legalities of the matter. If the real story can come out, it needs to. Usually, I am very pro-coach or pro-player that the details can and should remain in-house. However, in this case, with Milik as a repeat alleged offender, and the history of some troubled issues in the program, the story needs to come out.

Perhaps that's just me sounding entitled as a fan but collectively, we have put a lot of time and money into this program. To have its reputation drug through the mud each season is disheartening and tightens my pockets a bit. I don't give 1/100 of what many on this board do. But I do like to think I am apart of the "next generation of potential donors." Money talks, if those bigger donors on here shared opinions similar to the AD, who knows. Maybe we'll get a chance to hold everyone accountable. I feel this is a situation where if there is no story, like suggested by Muller, than they should tell us what happened, where the story originated, and what the involvement is.

I donate a fair amount and I'm a four sport season ticket holder. My opinion is I don't give a flying fig what Bradley fans think. I just don't.

I like and trust Coach Muller. If he thinks we should know, that's fine. If not, that's fine too.

I have talked with him enough to say he always has the best interests of his players in mind. I trust he does the right thing as he sees it

I hear that a pedophile ring is being run by Joanne Glasser out of the basement at Agatucci's Restaurant

Very fair assessment. I do think you are right. I guess releasing the actual story would do more for those outside the program/ISU interest than those inside. Selfishly, I would like to know, but I trust Muller too. I do recognize the contradiction there.

The people choosing to take shots on twitter (including one national bball story/scouting guy) are absolutely clueless and are choosing to take these attacks based on the past, instead of the current situation.

I hope the full story comes out. I'd love to @ them when it does.

ISU's reputation and image is taking a beating based upon the few facts that have been shared in this situation. When do the remainder of the facts come out that helps clear ISU's image....next court date?

I've watched a bunch of crime/court TV shows. Isn't it apart of these pesky things called Miranda Rights that states, "You have the right to an attorney, if you cannot afford one, one will be provided for you."

Seems silly. Hopefully whatever the true story is comes out. I'm not holding my breath though.

generally speaking I hope Milik has something more than a court appointed lawyer.

Probably never. Seems like charges are likely to be dropped in this case or maybe a fine and that's the last we'll hear about it.

I don't think ISU's reputation is taking a hit at all. 99.876% of the population has no clue about any of this. I would bet the vast majority of students on campus have no idea about any of this. The kid's at practice today. I'm letting the BS speculation go. And the last thing I give a rat's ass about is what some Bradley dork who can't bounce a ball with both hands thinks about our athletic department.

I totally agree with you Timmy. Nobody cares except a few people on this board and a few others around the Midwest that follow basketball. I am on this board and don't care.

Bingo. Not a peep on the national level, and I couldn't care less how it plays in peoria. Or carbondale. Or other inconsequential places where it may matter.

Doing the right thing regardless of how it looks to those who don't have the facts yet builds a good reputation. Continuing to punish a player who you believe doesn't deserve further punishment in order to look good to outsiders constructs a fake reputation that easily crumbles. Making decisions based on how others will view them is letting others make those decisions for you. I trust Coach Muller's judgment and I'm glad he's doing what he believes is right. If people who support other schools don't like it, I don't care.
