Was never a fan of him but it's hard to argue with the on court results. If this fan base is honest with itself, we would have killed to have half of what they accomplished, but here we are...

Article I read (but can’t figure out how to link) says Winthrop players came forward with same type of allegations.

I’m guessing Gregg will ask for a video replay.....
Now this, this is an example of a quality post. Well done.

Hate to see it Greggggg. Maybe he'll go the Pitino way and head overseas to coach for a season or two before getting an opportunity at Independence CC before he reclaims his glory spot at Wichita State.

I'm not looking to exonerate him, but I do wonder if there's a correlation between playing time and level of complaint with Marshall's style.

Maybe. But if you take the one player at the front of the allegations, Shaq Morris played for four years and averaged 23.7 minutes per game his senior year and 17.5 throughout his career. He was their primary big. I'd say his minutes were on the lower end (comparatively) primarily due to averaging about 3 fouls/game throughout his career.

And Shaq seemed to me to never reach his potential . . . I suppose getting verbally abused every day could do that to a person . . .

Not a chance in hell.

Trade success for abusing players? You can't be serious.

ha whoops, quoted the wrong post.

meant to quote this one:

"Was never a fan of him but it's hard to argue with the on court results. If this fan base is honest with itself, we would have killed to have half of what they accomplished, but here we are..."

Greggg is out at Wichita State. He gets to slither into darkness with a $7.5 million pay day. I don't think we've seen the last of him.

This list of shit is insane. I can't say I'm surprised because Gregg has always been such a...stand up guy, but dude is physically assaulting players. The story about the parking spot and punching a college kid over it was absolutely off the wall. What adult punches someone over a parking spot?

I do not think we will see this guy again. There are accusations by THIRTY former players. I think Greg might be in charge of an AAU program in a few years, but college ball- he's done with.
