I'm sure very few predicted that Austin Reaves would ever make an NBA roster (if you look at his career stats in college), let alone get the massive contract he earned and has become an integral role player. Austin is only in his 2nd year out of college and he's 25, so he was the same age that Antonio was when he was a senior.

The plain fact of it is, if Tone’s good enough, he’ll play. Age only matters in the draft. Ability to play matters after camps break and seasons begin.

I root for Antonio (an excellent signing for ole Illinois State) but he's not an excellent player in the overall scheme of players who can go to the league. He's a good one-dimensional player. If he's making shots he looks good. If he's missing shots his other liabilities really stand out. Austin Reaves has a much wider skillset imo. Maybe he proves me wrong this year, and ya know what - I hope he's does - but I don't see him ever making the league. And outside of an explosive season this year, I don't even see him getting drafted.

Lorenzo Gordon has been charged in St Louis for wire fraud regarding 2 of his businesses misusing COVID money.Had no idea he had a daughter with ex girlfriend and British actress that was on the cast of Basketball Wives. Apparently, she is on the lamb in VA to start serving time for fraud. Assume he met her playing overseas. Tons of COVID was stolen. but the Feds are still trying to claw some of it back. There were several IL State Agencies where employees got into the act and are finally getting busted.

Watching College Game Day on ESPN. They're in Arkansas leading up to their game vs Kentucky later today. Great spotlight on Antonio Reeves. I didn't realize he put up 37 points on them last year in Arkansas!
