Guess that's why Alex came back this year...
Bobby Knights’ kids came back year after year. So did Paterno’s, Schembechler’s, Huggins’, and on and on.
The point. I’m making us to these kids, their coaches are like Gods to them. Over time they start to believe whatever their coaches are preaching as gospel.
If your coach elbows you because your celebrating a hard fought victory maybe, after time, you start to question how aggressive you should be and you start to but into his “play nice” philosophy.
Me, I’d rather see a 2001 University of Miami (football) style of in your face aggressive, without crossing the line, type of play. You know, the kind of play Muller brought to the table when he was a player.

Knight, Paterno, Schembechler was a way different era, where many had little choice but to come back,

Nobody is happy with what has happened in the last few years with this program. Mistakes and tendencies that many have pointed out
keep happening, even with different rosters. Most fans here are on record as ready for a change, but most don't need to yell the loudest or
have it inferred that because they are not yelling from the rooftops that somehow they back the coach.

Muller is not going to be let go during this season unless something extreme happens. Especially after one disappointing game following the best
win this program has had in a few years.

Indicative of our current dilemma...a win at home v Misery St is considered a Yuge win. SMH. Can the bar be set much lower?

Sadly, true.

Our attention should be on Kyle Brennan, not Muller.

Under Brennan, our football program has nosedived and basketball may be in the worst shape in program history.

Between ZERO national hype around our two programs and paltry attendance where it matters most, something has to give. Perhaps even worse is that the AD continues to be radio silent on our flagship program, men's basketball.

I'm not saying Brennan should be canned like Muller, but his seat's getting warmer.

Brennan is brand new. This shit show is all on Larry Lyons.

Let’s not blame the firemen for water damage.

I don’t think Benson ever questioned it. I don’t think it ever even come up outside of that 1 tweet and here.

Benson has never been known for his hard hitting post game questions or analysis. Good guy. Just not looking to stir the pot much.

Agreed. His article on Fleming last week was fantastic. He’s so good at that stuff. Not at questioning Muller. Then there was the time he got mad and Randy attacked Josh Tolentino on Twitter for scooping them. Lost a lot of respect for those 2 that day.
