Guys, look at his record without Tre and Marshaun and tell me he has been a success. Without those two this team has never been able to get over any hump. You say I’m uninformed, but I am somebody who has attended every home game the last 6 years and watched almost every road game during the same time period. This team has had zero offensive identity since Kolbe left, who btw Spack said was going to be the greatest QB ISU has ever had. I’m tired of 6-5 seasons.
you can yeah but any roster on any program and change the potential outcome. Might as well yeah but out a few scores in close games and really skew the results

Worth reminding people on here players that we would have had on the roster for the Fall '20 season had COVID not screwed everything up.

Brady Davis
Jeff Proctor
Romeo McKnight
Christian Uphoff
Devin Taylor
Dylan Draka
Paul Monaco

Also, do not forget Charles Woods, John Ridgeway, Andrew Edgar, Taylor Grimes, and Drew Himmelman (who all played in the Spring '21 I believe).
Thanks for doing the leg work on this. There's a helluvalotta talent on that list.

I was going to ignore this for obvious reasons but what the hell. Before Brock Spack, the last winning football coach at ISU was Edwin Struck who left in 1964. We've been through 7 head coaches before landing on Spack. The great Todd Berry was 500. And some on here want to fire him. I'm sorry but I remember life before Spack. Fire the guy? Laughable!

Yeah you guys are right, he’s definitely doing a good job with loses to bottom feeders Western and ISUb. But I keep forget he is the winningest coach so we should ignore recent performance.

So third round of FCS tourney in 2019 isn’t recent enough?

Firing Spack is not the answer. He needs a QB, a couple receivers and One good offensive coordinator not two…

And you do realize who recruited the current team and hired the OC(s). This is on him. He is the head coach.

Is Coach Spack still under contract or was the extension through 2021? I could see a one year extension to right the ship. Team has been under performing since 2019. Little to no offense, won’t wins games at the collegiate level.

Stupid thread.. you want a sh-t show, go to the bball forum.

Spack is the guy ... but yeah, he needs a real OC who he gives some leash to run the offense.

Just because you say it’s stupid doesn’t mean it’s true. You people are blinded by 5ish seasons of success out of twelve. Just like it’s said about HCDM, THIS is this team after all these years?!?

Brock should have cashed out 5 years ago. But he stayed and he stayed for the same reasons as Daniel Muller. Very low program expectations, high tolerance for mediocrity and highway robbery pay.

Maybe he stayed ‘cause no one else wanted him.
I mean, successful FCS coaches are constantly picked off for P5 jobs, yet not once have we heard of Spack ever being seriously considering sundered.
Interesting…
Who really cares though.

Please elaborate on your conversation with coach Spack. He must have told you where he applied.....

This was the toughest year in a long time for Redbird football. Those comparing Spack and Dan are ridiculous. They are just angry and not informed about what Spack has built or what was here before him. Do we need a QB, yes. I am excited for next year, lots of talent coming back and Brock will recruit the transfer portal.

I hope the new AD gets the indoor practice facility into the next phase, that will help recruiting.

I said many times give 14 the ball to see what he could do, well he did not produce. It's unfortunate because I was hoping he would be a gun slinger.

Enjoy the off season fellow tailgaters see you all next season.

I am interested in what Coach Spack will do in the coming weeks. After the consistent poor offensive performance, I would expect to see some significant changes in the offensive coaching staff. If he makes no changes at all that would be very hard to defend. The new AD, I am sure, is not interested in more seasons like the one we just witnessed. Both O-Coordinators and the QB coach to me are all on very thin ice or should be. I don't think anything much is gained by firing Coach Spack at this point. I would be looking at changes in the offensive coaching staff. Lots of young players got playing experience this season. What they need is solid coaching to develop them and put them in a position to excel. Coach Spack is responsible and he needs to make the changes. What he does over the next few weeks regarding the coaching staff will tell volumes about where this program is heading.
