I have 0 problem with it. Was funny bc at first I thought muller was pumped he hit the shot, and then realized he was grilling him.

I thought the same thing. I'm sure Madison did something wrong, but I couldn't tell what or where. I thought maybe he was in the wrong spot on the floor for the offensive sequence... but he scored so oh well oh well.

It was because of something that had happened in the previous defensive sequence. It had nothing to do with the next offensive set or shot that he made.

Yeah, I laughed a little out loud thinking about some Debbie Downer posting early in this thread on how "lifeless" HCDM looked. I don't think MW was thinking that while his coach ripped him a new one for about 90 seconds on the defensive faux pas on #0.

Yep, this is pretty much what he lit into him about. Madison knew it was coming too. A friend and I both commented that it was funny to watch Dan get excited after the 3 and immediately roll into laying into Madison without any pause.

You know what's crazy... no one asked Muller about this either. Not in the post game radio interview, or the press conference, or his radio spot this morning. One more chance to find out tonight at the Coach's show. Maybe Morans14 or DpDough can ask the question some media members won't. Even if Muller doesn't given an answer, you still have to ask the question.

Edit: I have not listened to the MVC Coaches Teleconference yet, but our local guy is the only one that asks Muller questions anyway.

I know the answer so you can save the question and use it for something else since the answer isn't earth shattering.

When Evans went down with the injury it was known at halftime he would be out the rest of the game. Muller told Milik he needed him to play the entire 2nd half. WT was his backup in case he either needed a break for some reason or if he got into foul trouble. Neither came to pass, so WT sat. Not an ideal situation, but it's the way it was decided at the time. With PF-DN-MY all in the 3-4-5 roles the floor was locked down. WT isn't going to come in as a 1-2 and MY won't slot in as a 1-2 so it is what it is.

Evansville was lucky their only player worth a darn was so hot from 3. Even for him. They were a 1 man show in the 2nd half and it's natural those teams usually lose those games.

We didnt hit free throws
Our starting PG didn't play at all in the 2nd half...
Their stud was absolutely on fire

I'll take that win under those conditions any day. But we weren't "lucky".

I do think Dan needs to reassess crunch time subs though.
