Very nice win - team is learning how to play with a lead. Numerous times, where earlies the year we go on a scoring drought - not today.

Refs called this game very tight for Evansville - thank goodness they did not shoot well from the line. Tinsley found his shot - at least for one game.

Why in the heck does Hein foul a guy several feet behind the arc??? DUMB - stand straight up - no need to jump. Then, again we had gone all game without fouling a three point shooter - we have to have one of those per game.

I enjoyed this game as much as the end of the Wichita game. Wichita player gets a T for running his mouth. Marshall gets a T for defending his player...but really just crying because they were getting beat. Fans booing like crazy. Wichita is now 8 and 9.

I'm happy we finally got one on the road and feel good about taking one in Peoria too before coming home for what I believe to be a tough game against Indiana State, who has lit us up in the past. Every time I see that 4-2 record, I get a little angry, knowing the Birds could really be 5-1 or even 6-0. Things seem to be clicking and this is a very good time to have two road games in a row. I fear having a home game would make them over confident.

I love that Chas is showing to be every bit as good as he was recruited to be. He makes the hustle plays, has the highest bbiq, and just gives great effort. The team goes with Chas.

I noticed, especially toward the end of the game, Josh seemed disconnected from the team and disinterested. Understandably so if he had been talking to family and friends about coming to the game and then he doesn't play. But this benching thing seemed to work for Boogie, hopefully it works for JJ too.

Having Chas, Milik, Boogie, and Rey have all shown they can guard the other team's 5 man. This makes the decision to RS Taylor an easy one. Plus, if the other team's size becomes too much of an issue then go zone, which has been working very well the past few times they've done it.

As simple as it is, this game came down to making shots. Phil missed 3 or 4 bunnies that would have kept this game out of reach for the Aces. The Birds haven't scored like that in conference play. Hopefully it can continue and the defense continues to improve. I wouldn't say it took a step back today but it didn't improve.

Road wins are always good! Especially overcoming the adversity with the fouls. 23 fouls to 15, and that includes the end of game fouls. First half discrepancy was 11-2 in favor of UE, I believe.

Good game. We led most of the way, we won. Other than MYs knee acting up some we seem to have escaped healthy. We are right up near the top.of the pile,

MY didn't melt down today when the going got tough. And he only had 1 turnover in the 2nd half. The 5 in the first half were a bit less than helpful, though. For the most part, he's doing better in that regard since the Valpo game. The UNI game was tough at the end, but we held on.

He played well today.

I feel the officiating changed the way we played in the second half. We didn't play as aggressive as wanted. I also think we got a little timid at driving to the basket.

Considering everything that could have went wrong, we played very well.

Our opponents are definitely trying to get Milik flustered or in foul trouble. That is part of their game plan. He continues to get high praise during the broadcasts.

I'm sure his recent play is just an anomaly, how could the expert fans who discredited MC's talent be wrong. He came from a tiny school, he needs to play at a much lower level school...………………..NOT!!!
