Glad for the win, but our wins shouldn’t be this difficult against marginal teams. Still hoping for 20-21 wins and an NIT bid, but we are not showing dominance in the noncon. I’m sure that I’m not the only Redbird fan who had been caught off guard by this start.

It would be a miracle if they win 20 games. They haven't showed improvement like in other seasons that makes us think there will be a late season run. I hope they make the NIT but it's more likely to 17-14 to 14-17 at this point. They're going to get eaten alive in the conference.

Got the win which is most important and Fayne/Milik had real good games. Idowu showed a little promise towards the future. Otherwise not a good team showing. Thankfully the individual Redbird pieces (Fayne/Milik) were more valuable than the overall Cleveland State team. This game, though a win ,is another big red flag against having any expectations for NCAA or NIT tourney play.

The Valley is a pebble's toss away from being the Big Sky or the Sun Belt. We collectively are a shadow of recent history.

Loyola is a trainwreck. SIU is wildly inconsistent. Bradley just dropped a home game to EIU. Indy State and Drake must have had Jank draw up their non-con schedules. It's anyone's guess who will win the outright league title or Arch Madness.

Based on our positional talent and history of late season surges, this unlikely season might very well turn into something special. Be sure to stay until the end of the ride, my friend.
