Central Arkansas (10/7/19) playoff game

Very good first half. I wish we would be a little selfish about getting the ball back before halftime. As the announcers said, we had 2 timeouts with 55 seconds left on a Central Arkansas 3&12. Why not use one right away and get a couple of shots at the end zone then get the ball to start the half? That’s what I do in Madden, anyway.

Need to come out of the locker room with our hair on fire and bury UCA. Don’t forget about 2016 when we dominated the first half. Let’s get to Fargo.

nice half after awful start .. 2 slips, at least 2 fumbles, but Jefferson settled down and is again doing a nice job managing this game. I recall hearing their turf is a little slippery back in 2016 .... maybe thats a fresh coat of paint on their awful looking surface.

Not liking the timeout usage .. first, why did we call one on 2nd down with 1:20 left. Then why didn't we call on after we stuffed their 2nd down with a 3rd and long coming up. Then used one before they punted .. not getting that ?

But very nice half ... OL started slow but picked up steam. Sorry to see Edgar go down ... has to suck for him. Defense looks very dominant .. somewhat surprised how much we've held their pass game in check.

Looking good so far .. got to come out and punch them in face right away ... not literally, ike that stupid stunt by Brandon Simon on their very first play .... but you know, figuratively.
