No kidding! Took me about 30 minutes to get over the epileptic seizure.

I get that today every one feels that the media is biased, and maybe they are.

But not the sports section in Peoria or Bloomington or Springfield or anywhere else. Come on, Dave Reynolds has been doing this for 29 years. He's won multiple sportswriter of the year awards. He's covered some AWFUL basketball for a small time news paper.

I agree with Timmy, Wardle is not a great person. He was accused of some things in GB he got out of and one player who left BU had accused him of some stuff as well that blew over. He has a reputation, for sure.

Maybe they'll all just watch Space Jam together and this will disappear as fast as it came.

63. Bradley

While this ranking may not be promoting the Bradley brand, the Braves could’ve done a better job of that themselves if they hadn’t opened conference play 0–5 and lost to the likes of Eastern Illinois in non-conference play. Nonetheless, their late-season turnaround was impressive, and their slow motion jog through the Missouri Valley tournament, including a revenge victory over Loyola Chicago after they lost in the semifinals to the Ramblers last year, earned them a date with Michigan State.

I don't know about everybody else, but when I watched the video of the "apology" over on pjstarforums, I didn't actually hear an apology. I heard a lot of double talk, how the two of them talked, and how he tries to teach his players to do the right things. Coach Weirdal reminds me a person my father-in-law always talked about who "wouldn't be happy if he was kicked in the a$$ with a golden boot".

Dave Kaplan and his band of sports writers ripped Bradley for a good 4/5 min on his round table show on Comcast Sports yesterday. How bout that for your brand? And I think David Haugh went off on Wardel

I don’t anticipate anyone in the media treating Bradley with kid gloves on this. BU was monumentally stupid, and are getting what they deserve.

Certainly once Michigan State starts slaughtering the Brands, the announcers will need to fill some air time by slaughtering the Bradley brand with commentary on their ignorance.

Perhaps the most unflattering capsule preview in recent history. Looks like Bradley has become the tournament's punching bag.
And it's only Tuesday!

Suuuuucks to BU!

I would argue that Wardle and the AD should ban themselves from BU basketball events as they've done more to hurt the Bradley brand than Dave Reynolds ever could.

Not that I care too much since it is Bradley, but what gets lost in all of this is Wardle and the AD took away from the players making the NCAA Tournament. It should be all about the players and Wardle decided his ego and settling a score with the beat writer was more important than his players.

With BU being the only ILLINOIS school in the NCAA....the news gazette suggested the teams that the illini faithful should be rooting for. I read through it...and maybe the list can be evaluated in a different manner...but the last team the beat writer suggested to root for....was po' ol' BU, especially after the last 96 hours. I did enjoy the snapshots of each team....

"No. 29 Northern Kentucky (West, No. 14)
Why root for the Norse: Perhaps you remember an innovative baseline out of bounds play from mid-January. Northern Kentucky went with a four-four-receiver formation to sew some dysfunction and seal its win against Wright State. An A-plus for creativity.

The downside: Gimmicks probably won't work quite as well in the NCAA tournament, and as good as big man Drew McDonald has been this season, neither does a one-man show for a double-digit seed.

Projection: The Norse already have two NCAA tournament berths in seven seasons as a Division I team, but this one ends like the last — in a first-round loss."

Yeah, I remember it...when our HC was the one that actually did it first.
