Put your seatbelts on because with the line as young as they are, we're gonna struggle offensively. Probably all year. Sorry defense, but you gotta keep us in games. Special teams and kicking HAVE to pick us up and make plays while those key guys on the line grow.

And it would be nice to see one offensive player be a playmaker.

Once again - our offense is horrible - the blocking of the O-Line does not exist, they are going East & West more than hitting people. Technique is terrible. Not hiring an offensive coordinator has really put us behind the eight ball - will need to clean house of the entire offensive staff.

We need to hit WR's in stride. Kolbe is locking in on a receiver that is too often standing there facing him. That won't get it done. We're not beating man coverage. If SIU does it then we need to do it.

Time to bench Kolbe. The defense might be bad, but we aren't doing anything with all of the turnovers he is giving up.

I never liked the Co-Offensive Coordinator thing but they pulled some things together last year. This year I think it is very apparent there is no solid offensive game plan, the defenses seem to know exactly what ISU is going to do, we have zero creativity and most important there is no production. I don't think Kolbe has played well but I will give him the benefit of the doubt since he is playing in an inept offensive system. That responsibility falls to the offensive coaches. You have to wonder just how bad this is going to get with YSU, NDSU and SDSU coming up. Each game stands on its own but those teams are much, much, much better than SIU.

I do like Fourthandshort optimism but if we are talking realistic expectations idk if this redbird team wins another game. Running play action down 28-0 and offense looks worse n worse. I'm wondering when Dicken n Clark will start to get heat bc this offense and blocking is terrible.
