Are you not concerned about the financial impacts of COVID on Illinois state athletics? Dans pay cut could salvage some small sports. I would definitely gain a lot of respect for Dan if he did this. He is the highest paid employee at ISU. I think it’s fair to pose this as an opportunity for him to show he truly cares and wants what is best for ISU. I’m sorry I am biased. I want what is best for ISU and the student athletes. I will feel really bad for the tennis and swimming and diving teams if their programs are shut down when an employee could step in and keep it from happening. I just so happen to know one man who could step up here. Dietz, spack and Lyons could do the same as far as I’m concerned but Dan is the at the top of the salary mountain.
