Toe sprain for Milik. Still questionable for uni

I forget. Is that anything like a blister that you can't play through or like a blister that you can't play through but do it anyway?

MY definitely not playing. Don’t know how we could possibly win this game

I was just thinking the same thing, but you beat me to it, probably because you are smarter.

I would like to start a thread with the title, 'Are We Talented'...but I don't know how to, because I'm not that talented.

I also think we overrated our talent. I think the coach would say we are talented, but we don't have enough 'competitors'. But I always thought being naturally competitive is a major component of talent, but that's just me. I want to play with the player that gets pissed off when he loses a game of tiddly winks...

No worries. Travis Wilson is coming next year and will dominate this league.

I feel better now the Leek is expected to play. Hopefully he runs circles around Bennett Koch and Klint Carlson.

Where did you see that?

Another thread...maybe I'm falling for someone's trolling around. Nothing official. If I see it on a message board then I believe it :D

I didn't get a chance to watch the UNI/SIU game but did catch UNI/Drake. Drake took a big lead before UNI decided to start feeding the post. The 21st Koch brother to attend UNI came in off the bench and got hot, scoring 19. So, it may be a good idea to at least start the evening in a zone/go to one when Koch is in. UNI hasn't been great shooters this year but probably will be against us.

The key stopping koch is to double him quick. Drake didn't have the size to effectively do that, we do. I think we match up better against bigger teams. The little guard teams like Drake, InSU and Loyola give us trouble.

Must win game for both teams. This is a pretty good matchup for ISU, but not sure we can get a win on the road.

Looks like tonight’s game is a preview of the Thursday night 7 / 10 game in St. Louis

I'm afraid that might be true. I already bought my ticket but wasn't planning on going down on Thursday ... might have to now. If we play on Thursday then we probably won't even make it to Saturday...

I think we lose to tonight..double digits because Milik probably isn't 100 %...I don't think Evans or Madison are 100 pct healthy either.

Not so sure.
If we win we shouldn’t be a 7.
If UNI wins they won’t be a 10. Don’t think we can fall all the way to a 10

Now 8/9 that may be another story.....

Disagree with this. These were early games on the non-con side of the schedule. It is not necessarily a false sense of talent but there was not a definitized plan of attack from the opposition that was obviously unclear in the early going. MY and the entire team were an unknown quantity prior to the season with all of the turnover so MY was able to be the difference maker and run free for a majority of these games. He handled the ball and drove down the lane pretty easily and scored or dished to a wide open KEY or slashing Fayne or someone else. Now that games have been played and there is lot more video then the game plan by the opposition has focused on MY, PF and Key. Now others have exposed the weakness that was already inherent. Not enough high value depth and more than anything -- defensive liability. The team has not adjusted to the opposition of focusing on MY and PF and even Key to some extent. They not only don't have experience defensively or the quickness and strength of some of the players lost from last year but they also do not consistently engage defensively with that "All In" mantra they chopped wood with last year.

Bold strategy with a starting lineup that features two people who can score. Let’s see how it plays out cotton.
