I'm excited because my alma mater is playing and I like cheering them on. So screw your negativity.

Same here!

Me too. I'm feeling pretty negative about the season in general but still get excited to cheer on every game. With low expectations I don't get too crushed about the loss though any more.

+1 this as well. I am always excited for when the Birds play regardless of how the season has gone bc it's my alma mater and the team I've enjoyed since I was kid. Hopefully they can pull it together this weekend but if not I wont be as hurt and there is a bright future ahead for the freshmen.

There is nothing to be proud of. The only hope is this disgrace of a season doesn’t come to too embarrassing of an end. This team and Dan Muller haven’t done anything to make ya proud.

:text-+1: jammer & Rico’s cup’s are always half empty.

Isn’t that the truth.

It's like the stock market: we'll recover in due time. Will it be next season? The season after that? Or the season after that? You can't be so focused on the short term results and need start looking at the bigger picture. Rico, I suggest you become a Duke fan if you want an all-star team every year. An example is UNI where they have developmental years but get continuity in their roster. Those years become short-term memory once you start reaping the benefits of roster continuity and player development. It's just the ebbs and flows that come along with being a college basketball fan.

Ummmmm it’s been 22 years and 8 mediocre years from Muller...Jacobson never went 8 years with one title.

Love the zone. Just give up points. This game is piling up turnovers.

Turnovers turnovers turnovers. When you turn the ball over 20+ times a game you have to shoot a high percentage to have a shot. So frustrating

Copeland and Hillsman are turnover city whenever they take it to the hoop and neither are very good at finishing around the rim

Stock market? I guess I missed Dan’s 10+ year bull run.

I can’t believe the MVC puts this game on TV. Awful basketball.

We’ve played incredible for us. I question if we will keep hitting all these 3s
