And that’s exactly why I have reservations about the actual success of the season. So far we have won 4 more games than last year. Indiana State and Northern Iowa were good wins yet we lose twice to Valpo. .

It’s hard for me to argue this not being a successful season with better players and more wins. Even if the Birds finish with a losing record thy won more.

If Dana gets fired and hisnokayers leave Missouri State, we should pursue NJ Benson really hard. Great motor, defensive presence with ability to score, sophomore, and on the honor roll

UIC surprisingly filled their student section. Think they took a page out of Loyola’s book and paid for all their expenses? I heard Curtis Granderson was around, and he was VERY generous in gifting them a baseball stadium.

MiKyle was out for our worst loss at Wichita. Committee didn’t care - especially after they destroyed us on Sunday. Losing to Drake a third time - by 30, no less - killed our chances in 2008, as well.

Drake and Trees need to play a close game today. No blowouts to give any additional reason to exclude either one of them.
