Beacons not winning today!Birds lost to Valpo.....twice.....
Valpo’s down by more at half than what Murray lost by.Half
Belmont-48
Valpo-22
Valpo looks really bad, not as bad as Murray, how did we lose to them twice.
And that’s exactly why I have reservations about the actual success of the season. So far we have won 4 more games than last year. Indiana State and Northern Iowa were good wins yet we lose twice to Valpo. .Belmont was up 40, how did we lose to these guys?
It’s hard for me to argue this not being a successful season with better players and more wins. Even if the Birds finish with a losing record thy won more. And that’s exactly why I have reservations about the actual success of the season. So far we have won 4 more games than last year. UIC surprisingly filled their student section. Think they took a page out of Loyola’s book and paid for all their expenses? I heard Curtis Granderson was around, and he was VERY generous in gifting them a baseball stadium.Decent showing from us. We’ve covered the club sections in 126/101/102/103, as well as a bunch of rows behind the bench.
Evansville with a decent showing as well.
No one in either student section though.
But, wasn’t Kent “knocked out” of half of the ISU game and sat out the SIU game?Except two bad losses to us and SIU
MiKyle was out for our worst loss at Wichita. Committee didn’t care - especially after they destroyed us on Sunday. Losing to Drake a third time - by 30, no less - killed our chances in 2008, as well. But, wasn’t Kent “knocked out” of half of the ISU game and sat out the SIU game?
That Muller team was close but sh*t the bed BIG TIME when it mattered. That was typical of the competitive Muller teamsMiKyle was out for our worst loss at Wichita. Drake and Trees need to play a close game today. No blowouts to give any additional reason to exclude either one of them.
