Interesting that Markusson chose to redshirt his senior season . . .

Got a feeling we will be seeing lots of twitter activity related to recruiting due to the corona virus limiting travel and visits.

In reviewing the current list of available bigs (PF, C) who are grad transfers, I found very little to get excited about. I limited my search to guys who were either 6’9”+ or 6’7”/6’8” and 230+. Almost all of them seem to be transferring so they can actually see the floor, many not seeing the floor more than a couple games.

Here are 4 who could add depth, if not more. Not seeing any come here, but they’re at least worth looking into.
  • Jeremy Peck, 6-9/240, PF, UNC-Asheville
    https://uncabulldogs.com/sports/mens-basketball/roster/jeremy-peck/2535
For us: Back up, breather minutes

  • Jeremy Bruner, 6-9/205, 10.9 ppg, 9.2 rpg, 3.7 apg
    https://yalebulldogs.com/sports/mens-basketball/roster/jordan-bruner/14257
For us: Start/1st big off bench

  • Damien Sears, 6-7/230, PF, St. Johns
    https://redstormsports.com/sports/mens-basketball/roster/damien-sears/3660
For us: Back up, breather minutes

  • Arnoldo Toro, 6-8/248, PF, George Washington 6.5 ppg, 7.0 rpg
    https://gwsports.com/sports/mens-basketball/roster/arnaldo-toro/6741
For us: Back up, decent minutes

Brandon Johnson 6’8 from Western Michigan. This guy would be like Carmichael. Don’t know if he would look to go P5 or not but Belcher is following.
